How to arrive Ayvalik?

The nearest airport is Edremit (Koca Seyit) Airport (EDO) which is 40 km distance and has direct flights from Istanbul and Ankara. There are shuttles that go directly from the airport to the Ayvalik city center.
By Boat
There are flights from Athens to the Greek Island of Lesvos. Daily ferries connect Ayvalik with Mytilini, the capital of Lesvos, during the high season. The trip takes around an hour. Tickets can be bought from several different offices found on the main road around the harbour in Mytilini – Lesvos.
