PICT Co-founders Interviewed by World Radio Paris

On Monday, April 22, 2019, PICT co-founders Evrim Emir-Sayers and David Selim Sayers were interviewed by Joan Westcarr for Giving Back, a show aired on World Radio Paris.

In the interview, the two co-founders maintain that universities in the 20th century are beset by a number of problems, ranging from overcrowded classes to underpaid teachers, from the marginalization of the humanities to the neglect of critical thinking. Explaining that the Paris Institute for Critical Thinking (PICT) was conceived as an answer to these problems, the two co-founders outline the main principles and activities of the institute and recount how PICT became one of the premier Parisian institutions for critical reflection and intellectual debate in the English language.

World Radio Paris (WRP) is a non-profit anglophone radio station broadcasting over the greater Paris area on DAB+ (digital radio). Giving Back, hosted by Joan Westcarr, is a show that explores the activities of anglophone non-profit organizations active in Paris.
