
AMBAR VELASCO is Creative Assistant at PICT.
Ambar holds a BA in Creative Writing from San Francisco State University (2018) and is currently studying Plastic Arts at Université Paris 1 Panthéon-Sorbonne. Before moving to Paris from San Francisco, she tutored children and worked as a study abroad assistant at SFSU. Currently, Ambar organizes a sustainable art class at Jour et Nuit Culture, an artist residency in the heart of Paris.
Ambar’s main interests are art (drawing, painting, sustainable art, and art theory), short fiction, and philosophy (particularly the works of Friedrich Nietzsche and Maurice Merleau-Ponty).
