PICT Suspends Academic Program Until Fall 2020

Due to the ongoing coronavirus pandemic, the Paris Institute for Critical Thinking (PICT) has taken the decision to suspend all academic activities until Fall 2020. The suspended activities include our 18-hour courses, creative writing events, chess ateliers, conferences, public lectures, and the PICT Aegean Summer School.

Currently ongoing PICT courses and workshops will be rescheduled or partially refunded* according to participants’ preferences. If you are enrolled for a course or workshop that has not started yet, you can contact us for a full refund.

Of course, critical and creative thinking will not stop while we all try to remain healthy. Until concerns of public health have been addressed, PICT will continue its outreach and programming via videos, social media initiatives, podcasts, and other offerings appropriate to the situation.

Now more than ever, we offer our gratitude to all of you who support our volunteer non-profit work at PICT through your donations and membership fees. Stay safe and watch this space for further updates!

In Solidarity,

Your PICT Team

*In addition to teaching, PICT instructors put a lot of up-front work into planning and designing their offerings. To make sure this work does not go unrewarded, PICT will only refund 50% of the enrollment fees for currently ongoing courses, workshops, and ateliers.
